Qassia what?…
I was surfing the blogsphere and came across a blog that had an informative post on a new website called Qassia.
Qassia is a new sort of search engine, or as they put it “intelligence engine”, that allows you to add to their “intel”, kind of Wiki style, and in return allows you to place search engine friendly backlinks to your site (none of their links have the dreaded “nofollow” attribute). The more intel you add, the more backlinks you can add - kind of a “you scratch our back, we’ll scratch yours” type of system.
In addition to being very SEO friendly for you, they offer you a creative way to earn money by helping to add”intel” for them. They will pay you 100% of the ad revenue generated from any pages you’ve added the “intel” to. Yes, that’s right - 100%! All you need is your Google AdSense ID (this is how they generate the revenue), and the revenue from every Google ad on your intel pages automatically goes to you. Pretty sweet system.
Right now they’re in a beta testing and you’ll need an invite to join. As it happens I can give you an invite if you go to my profile page there at: http://tyhurd.qassia.com/ (once you join you can give out invites too).
Here’s a little excerpt from their FAQ:
At Qassia, you can add your websites for free, and without having to add reciprocal backlinks. You’ll get unlimited quality backlinks (as opposed to “no-follow” backlinks). You can also add intel. Short for “intelligence”, intel is a tidbit of information. Qassia rewards users who add intel in three ways.
- Backlinks You get one backlink for every piece of intel you add. Every intel will carry a direct backlink to one of your sites. So the more intel you add, the more backlinks you get.
- Credit When you add intel, you also get credit, in the form of Qassia dollars. Your net worth in Qassia dollars determines how well your websites rank in our directory.
- Revenue When your intel is displayed, you get 100% of the advertising revenue generated by that page. That is not a typo, by the way: we give you ALL of the gross ad revenue.
This means that website owners have triple incentive to contribute intel. The contributed intel will allow Qassia to become a vast repository of intelligence, with unrivalled original content. And a vast amount of original content draws traffic like honey draws ants.
Sounds like a site I would keep my eye on, and one I’ll be adding “intel” to for sure. Anyway to get those valuable backlinks without the “nofollow” tag sounds good to me - and if I make any money in the process, well thats just icing on the cake
.
If you liked this post,do me a favor and
Stumble it! Thanks!
