Social Bookmarking - do it for ALL of your posts!

I just wanted to write a quick post regarding the power of social bookmarking sites.

I put up a page about an entrecard dropping system I started today at around 4pm. Within only 7 hours of posting that page I received over 400 hits from the social bookmarking site StumbleUpon alone (over 600 hits to that page total).

This is a worthwhile amount of traffic, an amount that leads to a decent Alexa rating, and the kind of traffic that will make your site a valuable place to advertise on.

Just a friendly reminder to make sure you include a way for your readers to add your posts to their favorite social bookmarking sites, and that you bookmark ALL your posts on them yourself too.
