Getting visitors isn’t as hard as you may think it is…
Here’s a quick list of easy ways to boost your traffic in a hurry.
- Sit down and submit your blog AND RSS feed to all these directories. May take an hour, but it’s worth it.
- Submit your blog to as many blog carnivals as you can. This generates traffic and builds great backlinks! You can learn more about blog carnivals here. Do this once a week.
- Do a Google search for “blog forums” and reply to, or create a post in at least 15 forums a day (leave worthwhile comments and genuine posts though)
- Join Entrecard. Be ACTIVE in Entrecard for at least 10 minutes each day.
- Join blogcatalog. Be ACTIVE in blogcatalog for at least 10 minutes each day.
- StumbleUpon EVERY post you create! Join the forums at Entrecard and blogcatalog to exchange Stumbles with other bloggers. I get at least 300 unique visitors every single day just from StumbleUpon alone (If you’re lucky, you could get thousands from just one post!). Here’s a link to some other social bookmarking insight.
- Join RSS exchanges at blogcatalog.
- WRITE A POST EVERYDAY!
Do the things above and I absolutely guarantee you will add 200-600 visitors each and every day within just a few days. And that’s just to start, ’cause some of those visitor will become return visitors, and that adds up. Take one hour each day and follow these steps, and after a just a month or so you will, with out a doubt, be getting thousands of visitors a day…

This is a nice, succinct list of traffic tips. I have managed to implement all of these so far, although I still have some work to do with the forums. I have been doing well with the SEO, however, and am looking to get into some article directory submissions once I can schedule more time for writing articles (or budget enough funds to outsource it).

Or, you can write about contests with entrecard credits as the prize.

Very good trips for traffic. Now I just need to follow all of them. Entrecard is definitely a great place to hang out if you are looking to get more traffic.

You forgot one thing: commenting in a high traffic blog. If you write an intelligent comment in blogs like John Chow or problogger then you can see a sudden increase in traffic for a few hours. But you got to be the first few bloggers to comment in a new post
