The challenge
Today I challenge all of my readers to give up a link on their blog to an up-and-coming blogger. If needed reach out to your readers and ask for someone to volunteer, randomly pick a blog you like, whatever. Just take a blog that you feel deserves more readers and give ‘em link in your blogroll. It that’s easy.
If everyone did this once a week, good blogs that normally go unnoticed would start to gain ground. Nobodies could become somebodies. I know some of you don’t want to take away from your regular readers by linking off-site, and to a point this makes sense. You want to link internally, increase your page views, boost your Alexa, and that’s understandable. But trust me, the long term effect helping others will have on your blog will be worth it.
Remember, the best way to receive love, is to give it. Take 20 seconds to hook someone else up, trust me, and you’ll see the returns.

Now go add someone to your blogroll, and pick the person you’d like to see get some hits, not the person you think will help you. The first will help you more in the long run, you’ll see…

I had taken sometime off blogging but came back today but your point of someone you would like to see with more hits was just lovely.
Now that I would like to see that quote everywhere I just stumbled it. We seem to have forgotten what blogging was all about.
