Chess - a game chock full of life lessons
Chess is without a doubt my favorite game of all time. As a teenager and young adult I would play for hours on end. I was a real chess geek, with tournament mats (roll-up vinyl game boards), clocks, and the whole nine yards.
Chess teaches you several things that are imperative in business, and life in general - strategy, patience, acceptable loss, looking at the bigger picture, thinking in the long term, and plenty more. It’s a game of scholars and world leaders for these very reasons. If you don’t play, you may wanna try it, and you just might be surprised on how all it has to teach can carry over into your day-to-day life!
