Top Affiliate Challenge: Alliances have been made - & we need your help!

As I reported the other day I’ve entered to be in the new online reality TV show The Top Affiliate Challenge (see Ty’s Top Affiliate Challenge profile page - vote ten!). So far I’ve been able to hold a fairly steady 4th place. There will be 12 contestants on the show, the top ten automatically make it while the other two are chosen by the producers out of the top 25% of the remaining entries.

In an effort to secure a spot on the show I have team up with two other contestants. Kathy Strahan and Mark Puckett. I mean, what’s a reality show without alliances?!?

The alliance we’ve formed works in a very particular way. There’s something called super votes on this show. They cost $5 and count as 25 regular votes of 10! The one hitch is, since buying super votes is a bit unfair, the producers have decided that each super vote needs to count for not only the person it was purchased for, but two other contestants as well. So we’ve all decided to share our super votes! Each time one person gets one, we all get one! Pretty much all the contestants in the top ten have partnered up so we really had no choice if we wanted to remain competitive. Plus, several of the top tenners know each other in the real world and have an unfair starting advantage.

I’ve spent time talking with Kathy and Mark on the phone and we’ve exchanged plenty of emails and I have to say, I don’t think I could have picked better teammates. I talked with several other contestants about forming alliances and I chose Kathy and Mark for their honest and solid characters. They’re simply GREAT peeps.

Kathy Strahan

Kathy Strahan is an online marketer that specializes in diet and weight loss solutions. One of the things that set her apart initially was the fact that she’s totally blind. It actually took me a while to believe it as it’s tough to tell in her audition video (I thought blind marketer was some marketing term I just never heard of - LOL). For a blind woman she moves around unassisted incredibly well. She’s also SUPER nice, knowledgeable about internet marketing, and wants to be on the show just about as much as I do!

If you have the chance I HIGHLY recommend you vote her a TEN, and vote as often as you can (but no more than once per day). She’s great and deserves it tons!

Mark Puckett

Mark Puckett is an affiliate marketing master and on hell of a good guy. We’ve talk quite a bit and I just love how easy going and nice he is - he really is a salt of the earth type of guy. In addition to his affiliate programs he’s developing a few sites that focus on instructional videos. These videos will cover a HUGE range of topics and his business model seems like it’s bound to be successful. I’ll do another post about his new sites once they’re up and running (currently they’re still in development).

Like Kathy and I he wants on the show BAD, and I think he deserves it too! So if you have the chance I would mosey over to his profile page and give him a big fat TEN and do it every day!

Mark too has a new audition video that sounds like it’s going to be really great. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but from what he told me it’s going to be really funny!

Like Kathy and Mark, I want to make this show BAD. REALLY BAD. As I mentioned in my other post about the show, the contestants will be working with the likes of John Chow, Shoemoney, and Ken McArthur!!! WOW! What an awesome opportunity that would be. John Chow and Shoemoney have been a huge source of inspiration and it would mean the world to me to have the chance to work hand in hand with these guys. I’ve just recently become familiar with Ken McArthur, and as an award winning author and ubber successful internet marketing guru I would be just as psyched to work with him too. It really is an amazing lineup. It’s the internet marketer’s “Dream Team”!

So please, VOTE ME A TEN! Vote every day, and help me to have one helluva great time, potentially win some great prizes (I could really use) while learning from the masters! Plus if I make the show (and if I can keep up the current momentum I will) I’ll be documenting it all on this blog! That should make for some fun and educational reading.
