How to get $105 (or more) in Google Adwords PPC for only $5!!! Again, and again, and again…

July 6th, 2008 · 12 Comments · All, Humor, Marketing, how to, technical, tools, video

Super simple but very effective tip!!!

If you do any PPC advertising you know it can be COSTLY, but very effective and targeted.  Here’s a simple way to alleviate those heinous advertising costs. Note: In order for this to work you’ll need a Paypal account (that’s verified and has a bank account attached to it for back-up funding, otherwise you can’t use the Paypal plugin).

  1. do a search for a “Google Adsense coupon code” (you can usually find them for anywhere between $50 and $250 all over the net - most are $50-$100, if you find a $250 coupon snatch that sucka up ASAP! )
  2. Install the Paypal browser plugin (you can see the link to this on the left hand side of the screen while logged into your Paypal account).
  3. Open an Adwords account and use the Paypal plugin to generate a “one time use” credit card number to use as the method of payment to activate your new Adwords account (this costs $5 and is applied to your account balance), and enter the coupon code you found. Be sure to select “pre payment” as the method of payment so you don’t go over the initial funds and get a bill later.
  4. Repeat

That it!  Super easy.  You can just use these Adword accounts as throwaway accounts.  When the initial funds (the $5 initial fee plus however much the coupon added) run dry, just start a new account with a newly generated credit card number and different email address.

This trick can also be applied to Yahoo, MSN, and most other major PPC networks!!!

Bonus tip!

Here’s another tip to save you time with new email addresses.  If you have a gmail account (if not, open one) you can use it again and again by simply adding “+” to it just before the @ symbol, Like: johndoe@gmail.com would be johndoe+1@gmail.com, and johndoe+2@gmail.com, and so on.  All the messages will be delivered to the johndoe@gmail.com address.  This can be done an unlimited amount of times, for unlimited email address all being delivered to the same place!

Use this link to sign up for your Adwords account if you don’t already have one! (note: using the link below will give me credit - and hey, it’s the least you can do for such a juicy tip!! ;-)

Enjoy the tips!  Happy PPCing… ;-)

Any idea how to find these codes? I search Google and all I can find is expired codes or eBooks on how to find codes.

Just keep searching, try different search terms like “adwords $100″, “adwords $50″, and so on with different increments. Also try “adwords code”, “adwords coupon”, and so on. Also, try visiting the adwords site and start to sign up and then cancel, sometimes you’ll be presented with a coupon. You can also try finding different landing pages for adwords, start the sign up and then cancel and you may be presented with coupon. Just keep looking, you’ll find ‘em… ;-)

This is a super post, Ty. I had been wanting to give Adwords a try, but I am on a limited budget.

Now you have made those concerns go away.

    Thanks!

Thanks Ty. I have a $100 coupon from Yahoo and haven’t used it yet. They require $30 deposit in order to get $100. I also have a coupon for Facebook, I think it’s $50…got it free in my email

You only need one paypal account, just use the paypal plugin and generate a new credit card number for each adwords account. I’ve never had an issue using the same IP. I’m certain there are businesses that manage many adwords account that use the same IP so I wouldn’t worry about it ;-)
